For our department System admin. & Microsoft Product within General Services , we are looking for a (an) :

Senior Windows Engineer (m / f)

Main duties :

  • Install, support and maintain servers or other computer systems in relation to End Point Management (EMS)
  • Design, install, configure and maintain the centralized enterprise IT applications, such as, but not limited to,Active Directory, MS Exchange, MS System Center Configuration Management (SCCM), MS Intune, Mobile Device Management as well as the company's end user hardware and software solutions
  • Support and administer the company's Office and Collaboration Solutions (Microsoft OS, O365, MS Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Define, draft and keep up-to-date Group Policies
  • Test and evaluate hardware and software to determine efficiency, reliability and compatibility with existing systems
  • Develop and implement plans to secure end user infrastructures against accidental or unauthorized intrusion, modification or destruction
  • Ensure the availability, integrity, security and good performance of the above mentioned systems
  • Perform incident resolution and follow-up, problem identification and analysis as well as day-to-day infrastructure operations
  • Use scripting or light programming in relation with the tasks entrusted
  • Participate in continuous improvement of the overall production environment and write appropriate guidelines and documentation when required
  • Keep a high level of technical awareness within the assigned area of responsibility
  • Participate to IT S&S related projects and occasionally provide an administrative support in the scope of the activity
  • Cooperate with our Security Operations Center (SOC).

Required profile :

Minimum required criteria :

  • Be holder of a bachelor degree "BAC + 3" in Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience in a similar position
  • Strong knowledge and administration skills of current Microsoft products (OS, Office), Endpoint Management Systems (SCCM, Intune, MDM (e.g. Airwatch)
  • Proven skills in Anti-Virus administration and Business Continuity Planning

    • Scripting expertise

  • Good skills in software deployment and update methods
  • Strong communication skills in English as well as skills in French or German (spoken and written), at all levels, both inside and outside the company
  • Problem-solving skills, good ability to anticipate and adaptation skills
  • Accept to be part of the IT S&S On-Duty Team
  • Be familiar with standard office applications.

    • Desired or to be acquired criteria :

  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • Have knowledge of : Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft (Azure) Active Directory, Microsoft SharePoint; Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Intune
  • Antivirus infrastructures
  • PowerShell and / or VisualBasic
  • Skills in installations and maintenance of VM installations
  • Detail oriented and reliable
  • Team-oriented. able to work independently
  • Learn, understand, and apply new technologies
  • Show user skills in the tools used in the department
  • Good sense of urgency and flexibility
  • Maintain the strict confidentiality of the data.

    • The ideal candidate :

  • Knowledge of Luxemburgish or any other language is considered as asset.
