RESPONSIBILITIES

Join our Agricultural Solutions Expert Services team and support us in the area of Data Governance / Ontology.

• You will be responsible for the maintenance as well as further development of existing digital solutions in terms of data quality and connectivity to ontologies / reference data.
• You will accompany the development and implementation of new digital tools to automate as well as increase transparency in our global planning data landscape.
• In addition, you will evaluate as well as optimize data quality and define new concepts on data quality control and data governance processes.
• You contribute significantly to the development of required ontologies and drive the documentation of business processes in the company-wide data catalog forward.
• Furthermore, you will support and train the review board in technical as well as regional departments, including the creation of training materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

• degree in biology, chemistry, bioinformatics or a comparable field of study
• experience with the use, maintenance and/or development of ontologies (e.g. WebProtégé)
• deep understanding / experience with the creation of logical data models
• ideally good understanding of databases
• very good communication skills in German as well as English with focus on the needs of your customers
