The SeniorSoftware Test Engineer for Cytiva is responsible for the quality ofsolutions developed and deployed to customers of our suite ofdigitalsolutions.

Thisposition is a part of the Automation, Digital, and Learning (ADL)business unit within the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions (BIS)OpCo located in Karlsruhe, Germany and will be onsite position. AtCytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics fromdiscovery todelivery.

Whatyou willdo :

Perform testingof web applications and APIs in cloud services(AWS).

Design and developtest automation, tools, and procedures for designated feature areaswith tools including TypeScript (Jest, Vite, Testing library,Playwright), andPostman.

Analyse businessrequirements and develop test plans and test cases based onbusinessobjectives.

Reportclear, detailed, and well-documented bugs in JIRA and track throughto closure.

Support theengineering and QA teams in the troubleshooting and root causeanalysis ofissues.

Whoyou are :

Five plus(5) years of relevant automation and manual testing experience withat least 3 years of recent automationexperience.

Clearunderstanding and experience with Agile Methodologies, SoftwareDevelopment Life Cycle and Testingprocess.

Extensiveexperience with software development tools such as requirementtracking (Jira, Rally), defect tracking (Jira), source control(GitHub), IDE (IntelliJIDEA).

Programming skill inany programming language, especially Java, JavaScript / TypeScript experience.

Excellentwritten and verbal English communicationskills.

Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein :

Applyingengineering excellence through automation and processimprovements.

Troubleshooting.

Hands-onexperience with CI / CD tools (Team City,Jenkins).
