In the department Omnichannel, we provide digital services and portals for our specialist centers to offer our customers an even better shopping experience. We are implementing innovative projects such as the BAUHAUS pick-up stations.

For this position there is no application deadline. It only remains advertised for as long as it is open.

Your role :

  • As Technical Lead (m / f / d) in our Product Team Store Experience you are responsible for the technical management of your team in close cooperation with the Product Owner (m / f / d) to ensure flawless technical omnichannel implementations
  • You guide the team in transforming, migrating and improving existing complex systems toward new technologies
  • You collaborate with other Technical Leads (m / f / d) to refine our tech vision and develop the architecture roadmap and act as the technical liaison between business teams, the product team and stakeholders
  • You support your team as a mentor through mutual learning (. code reviews and pair programming) while being an active developer
  • You drive agile development of various products in a continuous integration and deployment process (CI / CD)
  • You frequently introduce innovative solution approaches and tech trends to further improve the development

Your profile :

  • Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, (Business) Informatics or a related field
  • At least two years of relevant work experience as Tech Lead (m / f / d) ideally experience with legacy application modernization
  • Knowledge in web technologies JavaScript / TypeScript, PHP and MySQL
  • Practical experience in using cloud provider platforms (. GCP, Azure, AWS)
  • Capable know-how regarding API design as well as system integration
  • High focus on code quality, performance, maintainability and expandability
  • Empathic teamplayer with strong people and communication skills; very good knowledge of English and ideally good knowledge of German
