What you'll do

  • Play a proactive role in the global KNAUF IT transformation by inspiring, guiding, and developing the global IT Finance & Controlling team to achieve strategic objectives
  • Develop, update, and prioritize a comprehensive vision and roadmap for the Finance & Controlling product area, ensuring the delivery of state-of-the-art finance and controlling solutions for the Knauf Group
  • Strategically manage the IT Finance & Controlling budget, focusing on driving cost efficiencies and optimal resource allocation to maximize financial performance
  • Ensure the seamless operation of Finance & Controlling functions by supporting and enhancing legacy applications, while also managing dependencies between individual products covering both resource and financial responsibilities
  • Act as the main content authority for the product area's backlog, collaborating closely with Finance & Controlling stakeholders, engaging with diverse departments, validating solutions, and actively seeking out innovations and new technologies to advance processes and improve stakeholder and vendor management

    • Who you are

  • Bring years of experience in leading large, global IT teams, offering clear direction and fostering professional development, while effectively addressing complex challenges in a multicultural environment
  • Driven by change and transformation, viewing these as opportunities for continuous growth and development; highly skilled in both cloud and non-cloud technologies with a focus on Finance & Controlling solutions, including expertise in SAP S / 4HANA
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration skills, coupled with a strong team-oriented mindset and a balanced mix of business process and IT knowledge, dedicated to meeting both financial and qualitative goals
  • Proficient in using project management tools and agile methodologies, with hands-on experience in ServiceNow and Jira; holds a Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Fluent in both English and German, with a readiness to travel regularly to Knauf sites worldwide to ensure effective support of global operations and initiatives
