Are you detailoriented and interested in working in the field of seed analysis (also as a career changer), in learning something new and supporting us in this responsible task? Then we look forward to receiving your application!

KWS LOCHOW GMBH is looking for a Seed analyst (m / f / d) for the seed testing activities at our location in Wohlde-Bergen , Niedersachsen, Germany. This position is unlimited and in full-time.

These will be your key areas of responsibility :

  • Execution of sample receipt and distribution
  • Carrying out cleanliness and stocking tests
  • Germination of the seed to determine germination capacity and driving force
  • Determination of the thousand grain mass and sorting
  • Determination of moisture content
  • Health checks and related preliminary and follow-up work
  • Collaboration in the further development of the existing QM system
  • Participation in regular internal and external audits

Bring in your strengths :

  • Completed vocational training as an ATA, plant technologist or comparable; career changers are also welcome
  • Confident handling of MS Office
  • Careful and accurate work, patience, perseverance and sensitivity in sensitive activities
  • High level of commitment combined with organisational talent, team spirit and reliability
  • Flexibility in working hours : seasonal overtime, some weekend work in the summer months
  • Good knowledge of German and English desirable
