Are you looking forward to taking on a new role as an IT Manager - Linux Architect ?

A client in the IT Services is currently looking for a IT Manager - Linux Architect, CDI. The company is located in Luxembourg with 25 to 30 employees.

You will head the IT Team and report to the CTO. As IT Manager you will lead the Infrastructure Team and closely work with the Production and Development Teams.

Your Responsibilities as IT Manager - Linux Architect :

Managerial tasks :

  • You will be the right arm of the current CTO
  • You will oversee and inspire a group of IT technicians and engineers.
  • You will assign duties and organize the team's workload.
  • You will carry out regular performance assessments and promote skills development.
  • You will encourage cooperation and communication between internal departments.
  • You will lead projects related to infrastructure development

Technical tasks :

  • You will ensure that networks and systems are available (incident management).
  • You will oversee the maintenance of physical and virtual servers and networks.
  • You will be responsible for keeping the IT Infrastructure compliant with company and / or project security policies.
  • You contribute to the definition and implementation of security policies.
  • In accordance with the strategic requirements of the business, you will suggest and carry out infrastructure optimizations and enhancements.
  • You will design and deploy infrastructure architectures based on customer / project requirements.
  • You will take part in initiatives including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
  • You will debug complicated technological issues and provide level 3 help if necessary.
  • You'll be working on technical interventions, settings, and document procedures.

    • Required skills for this role of IT Manager - Linux Architect :

  • You have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Technical Architect and a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Team Management.
  • You are fluent in English (MANDATORY)
  • You have a good command on Linux Server administration (MANDATORY) and on several of these products : AD, Network, Ansible, Security…
  • You are autonomous, solution oriented and a good communicator.
