The Resident Applications Engineer at customer’s site in Kassel is connection point between onsemi and the customer during the development and ramp up of the B6S power box. The person is involved in the day-to-day activities during the development, pre-production ramp up and production ramp up.

• Support in case of anomalies and inconsistencies between specifications and product performances by assisting with analysis and problem solving.
• Presence at End of Line during pre-production and production ramp-up.
• Direct access to onsemi's experts and actively participates in root cause investigations, including formulating hypothesis and help with validation.
• Link between customer and onsemi Failure analysis laboratory.
• Link between customer and onsemi application team.
• Coordinate returns (shipping, electrical and physical analysis, 8-D Report, .
• Support during sample construction (A-sample, B-sample, takes care of issues such as pin alignment ect…).
• Support during initial setups in the customer’s VSC (pre-series-center).
• Review and supports processes (press-fitting, welding, evaluation of tolerance).
• Communicate anomalies directly to onsemi and facilitate the development of solutions.
• Local contact person for quality issues such as (Storage, Packaging, Quality agreements).
• BS / MS degree in Electronics.
• Experience in semiconductor industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong negotiation skills.
• Prior customer facing role.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as well as in German language.
