Hauptaufgaben

Installs, modifies, maintains and repairs interior and exterior distribution panels / boxes, fixtures, apparatus, transformers, switchgear, emergency power units / generators, signal and alarm units, interior and exterior illumination, UPS systems, HVAC and other electrical devices up to 20kV ( 20.000 Volt ). Uses the full variety of trade's tools i.e. test meters and test lamps. In the performance of large-scale repairs, an electrician in a lower wage group assists work, as required. Has oversight of the very complex depot wide Utility Monitoring Control System (UMCS). Does the daily system checks with all required actions, schedules maintenance and service and plans required software updates with internal and external support agencies. Tracks the monthly utility consumption and does transmit the quarterly utility consumption data for invoicing purpose. Acts as POC in the absence of the Branch Chief.

Plans and lays out the routing, placement, type, size, load, continuity and proper and safe operation of electrical lines, circuits, systems, equipment and control instruments. Interprets building plans, wiring diagrams and engineering drawings and uses formulas basic to the trade to figure such things as voltage and resistance.

Regularly operates and maintains a transport vehicle (requiring at least a Class B driver's license) for the execution of daily duties, in addition to basic duties.

Drives military vehicles in performing official duties.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

A4-05 :

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der entsprechenden Gewerbegruppe mit einer Ausbildungsdauer von mindestens 30 Monaten.

Completed vocational training of at least 30 months in the appropriate trade.

ODER / OR

5 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung.

5 years of specialized experience.

A4-06 :

Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der entsprechenden Gewerbegruppe mit einer Ausbildungsdauer von mindestens 30 Monaten, PLUS 2 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Lohngruppe 5 oder in, vom Schwierigkeitsgrad vergleichbaren Tätigkeiten, welche selbständig ausgeübt wurden. /

Completed vocational training in the appropriate trade PLUS 2 years experience at a level of difficulty comparable to the Wage Group 5 or equivalent. The applicant must be able to perform the duties independently.

ODER / OR

8 Jahre einschlägige Berufserfahrung von denen mindestens 3 Jahre in der Lohngruppe 5 oder vergleichbaren Tätigkeiten ausgeübt wurden. /

8 years of specialized experience of which 3 years must have been performed at the wage group 5 or equivalent level.
