The Key Account Manager (d / f / m) will be responsiblefor driving direct sales growth and increasing margins in the Munich area , within one of the fastest growingsectors of life scienceresearch.
This position ispart of the Account / Direct Sales department and will be fullyremote .
Inthis role, you will have the opportunityto :
Developstrategies to win new business through advanced geographic keyaccount planning, account mapping, andnetworking
Deploy,coordinate, and leverage our outstanding Leica team of AdvancedWorkflow Specialists, Product Sales Specialists, Inside SalesSpecialists, Marketing colleagues, and even our Channel Partners toensure our customers are talking to the right people at the righttimes
Decide what happensand how we serve our customers in the defined geographical keyaccount area
Manageopportunities and sales funnel proactively and constantly in orderto produce accurate forecasts for the purpose of businessplanning
Theessential requirements of the jobinclude :
Degree inlife sciences (biology, physics, etc.) or another natural science,or comparable professionalexperience
Strong and provensales track record in a relevant industry (medical devices, lifesciences) with previous exposure to microscopy stronglypreferred
First experiencesin managing and / or leading cross-functional teams either via directline management or matrix setup, or excited to take that careerstep
Hands-on, operationalsales capabilities with a strategic and structured mindset,allowing you to define mid-term strategy for a team and activelyparticipate in executingit
Fluent in German andEnglish languageskills
Travel,Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / EnvironmentRequirements :
Abilityto travel – around 50% withinterritory
Must have a validdriver’s license with an acceptable drivingrecord
