Stellenbeschreibung
  • You will coordinate chemistry projects / studies for risk assessment of chemicals (e.g. REACH substances) and plant protection products in close cooperation with the analytical chemistry and biology teams.
  • You will develop and validate new extraction and residue analytical methods amongst others with complex substances (e.g. waterinsoluble unstable volatile) where each new study offers a pleasant variability and challenges.
  • As a Study Director or Principal Chemist you will carry out the chemicalanalytical part of aquatic ecotoxicological studies.
  • You will work under the Principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) to ensure complete documentation of all processes so that everyone has an overview of your studies.
  • At the end of a project you will write and issue study reports in English for submission and regulatory approval of chemicals and plant protection products.
  • You will be in constant contact with internal and external customers to establish and maintain numerous close relationships.
  • Qualifications :

    You fit in best with us if you ...

    • have successfully completed a scientific degree in chemistry food chemistry or related fields
    • have indepth knowledge of analytical equipment such as GCMS / MS and HPLCMS / MS
    • have knowledge in the field of analytical chemistry of problematic substances (e.g. insoluble in water unstable volatile)
    • are independent structured meticulous but have a pragmatic way of working
    • are an enthusiastic learner
    • have a very good command of English
    • German skills (spoken and written) would be advantageous but can also be learned
