We are an efficient and future-oriented social security service provider with more than 3,600 employees. As a regional provider of German pension insurance, we are responsible for the administrative districts of Upper Bavaria, Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate. At our Landshut and Munich locations, we are a competent and reliable point of contact for around 2.9 million insured persons, employers and 1 million pensioners.

To strengthen our IT department, which currently has around 150 employees, we are currently looking for a

Software Developer / Software Developer (m / f / d)

Areas of responsibility

  • Planning and design of software solutions in Cobol
  • Development and maintenance of software components to meet requirements (new development, program modification and maintenance of software components, documentation and provision of created software)
  • Setting up, adapting and administering the software development environment
  • Testing of software components or software systems, adaptation and revision of batch procedures
  • Quality assurance and documentation
  • Future involvement in the agile cross-regional project "rvEvolution" as a developer or specialist architect with a focus on Java and Angular
  • Supervision of students and training of IT specialists

Requirements for

  • Successfully completed university degree in computer science or comparable field of study, alternatively successfully completed further training in IT or several years of relevant experience in IT
  • Relevant experience in the area of responsibility and in software development required (knowledge of the programming languages COBOL / Java desirable)
  • Willingness to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge
  • Analytical, logical, structured and conceptual thinking skills
  • High service orientation towards users and applicants
  • Self-organization
  • Reliability and diligence
  • Ability to work in a team
