Our platform technology can truly revolutionize Computer Tomography (CT ) scanning, predominately in the medical imaging field, but also in other application fields like (airport) security scanning, backscatter security scanning or non-destructive testing (NDT ) for battery cells in the e-mobility space.

The EXPERIENCED LAB TECHNICIAN / X-ray Emitter Production works on the manufacture of high-performance field emission cathodes for innovative nanotube-based x-ray tubes which are used in medical and security applications. His / her core tasks are the development, continuous improvement and quality assurance of the materials and processes required for producing the cathodes.

Responsibilities - Overview

• Production of Nanotube NT emitter
• Apply programming skills to support automation and digitalization of the emitter production process, from initial design, procurement and manufacturing to quality assurance, enhancing efficiency, reducing operative costs and improving quality.
• Test the field emission of cathodes (current vs voltage, emission stability, etc.).
• Ensure the availability of an adequate inventory off laboratory and cleanroom supplies.
• Control, maintenance, and documentation of all the equipment in the NT laboratory, the chemical laboratory, the testing laboratory and the cleanroom.
• Actively contribute with troubleshooting and root cause analysis to ensure any issues or problems that may arise during production are repaired efficiently to meet the deadlines.
• Apply engineering knowledge and principles to develop the best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production yield and quality of output.
• Preparation of working instructions, inspection reports and internal test documentation.
• Develop and maintain documentation required for yearly internal and external QM audits.
• Responsible of the supplier relationship management and procurement of all supplies, except cathode parts.
