A Day in Your Life at MKS :

As a Materials Engineer (f / m / d) you will play a crucial role in the independent evaluation and documentation of topographic and physical investigations of electroplated materials and substrates according to standards and customer specifications. Your work will directly support our research departments. This position requires a commitment to maintaining consistent quality while regularly engaging in routine tasks as well as an openness to collaborating on innovative solutions and supporting other departments within Materials Engineering.

You Will Make an Impact By :

• Conducting topographic examinations using advanced techniques such as atomic force microscopy interference microscopy and confocal microscopy.
• Characterizing materials and customer samples through physical and microscopical methods including Focused Ion Beam analysis Xray fluorescence and mechanical testing.
• Developing and applying digital techniques for numerical data evaluation and image analysis.
• Ensuring the operational readiness of instrumental equipment.
• Serving as a contact person and advisor for employees and customers regarding technical matters.
