Internship in Point of Care Analytics - Materials

Job facts

As part of Roche Diagnostics CPS Point of Care (POC) , our department is involved in a multitude of projects ranging from blood glucose measurements to the development of cardiac and coagulation assays.

The POC Analytics Subchapter is located in Mannheim supports various products from early R&D to launched products. The main focus of the group is the development and validation of tailor made methods utilizing techniques of rheology, analytical particle characterization (PCS, SEM, Laser Scanning microscopy), surface analysis of membranes, fleeces, metals, plastics and coatings (XRF,NIR / IR, RAMAN), as well as trouble-shooting topics.

Your main tasks

• Develop methods based on new an d existing technologies to evaluate raw materials, production intermediates and final products of the POC portfolio
• Documentation of testing procedures
• Continuous analysis and evaluation of materials and products at all stages of development
• Support for customer related investigations

Als Teil von Roche Diagnostics CPS Point of Care (POC) , ist unsere Abteilung an einer Vielzahl von Projekten beteiligt, die von der Entwicklung von Blutzuckermessungen bis zur Entwicklung von Kardiologie- und Gerinnungsassays reichen.

Das POC Analytics Subchapter ist in Mannheim lokalisiert und unterstützt verschiedene Produkte in frühen Entwicklungsstadien, bis hin zu Produkten, die bereits am Markt eingeführt sind.

Der Hauptfokus der Gruppe liegt dabei auf der Entwicklung und Validierung maßgeschneiderter Methoden, die auf Techniken wie der Rheologie, der analytischen Partikelcharakterisierung (PCS, REM, Laser Scanning Mikroskopie), der Oberflächenanalytik von Membranen, Vliesstoffen, Plastik und Beschichtungen (XRF, NIR / IR, RAMAN) beruhen, aber auch trouble-shooting Themen.
