Your tasks

  • Supporting the biostatistics and mathematics team
  • Participation in data-driven solutions for system handling, process development, QA and production of POC diagnostics
  • Collaboration with the development department and product maintenance department for optical and electrochemical diagnostic systems
  • Completion of biometric tasks
  • Statistical consulting and participation in the design of experiments in product development
  • Development of mathematical models for data analysis for decision-making processes
  • Development of algorithms according to innovative state-of-the-art methods
  • Implementation of biometric methods in specification documents, taking into account the requirements of health authorities

    • Your profile

  • University degree in mathematics, statistics, physics or a comparable subject, doctorate or many years of professional experience
  • Relevant experience in interdisciplinary teams, preferably in a development department or in the field of medical technology and a high affinity for medical topics
  • Open to new ideas and question conventional ways of thinking
  • Excellent statistical knowledge, experience in statistical consulting and support of colleagues from other departments
  • Solid expertise in signal analysis and the development of robust algorithms
  • Solid programming experience in R and / or Python and experience with version control in Git to support the development of automated tools
  • Proactive collaboration and communication, both in German and English (C1)
