SEO / SEA / Social Media Specialist (m / f / d)

What you can expect :

As an SEO / SEA / Social Media Specialist (m / f / d) at Gebrüder Meiser GmbH, you will be responsible for the technical search engine optimization and performance optimization of our websites. Your goal is to continuously improve indexing, internal linking, crawling, loading speed and general performance.

Monitoring and reporting will be an important part of your job. You will create regular reports and performance reviews using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Matomo. You will also develop meaningful dashboards that illustrate SEO performance.

In your role, you will also analyze and report campaign data, identify potential for improvement and initiate targeted optimization measures to achieve the defined KPIs. You will work closely with our editorial teams to optimize both existing and new content for SEO. This includes keyword targeting, metadata, designing effective internal linking and ensuring general search engine friendliness.

Your profile :

• At least 3 years of experience in SEO as well as in the evaluation of social media campaign successes and the associated derivations for future measures
• Confident handling of SEO tools
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and website management is an advantage
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest SEO trends, algorithms and industry changes
• Team player who is comfortable in a creative and dynamic environment and enjoys working with others
• Sound knowledge of technical SEO, including indexing control, crawling, internal link graph, pagespeed. Experience in working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular), especially in
• Connection with server-side rendering (SSR)
• Practical experience working with the Atlassian stack and a basic understanding of managing and optimizing SEO-related infrastructure issues is an advantage. Additional knowledge of the OpenAI API is also desirable
• Experience in dealing with automation, be it through scripts (e.g. Python or JavaScript) or other solutions to increase efficiency in SEO processes
• Strong analytical thinking skills and knowledge of data analysis and the use of APIs (e.g. Google Search Console API)
• Very good knowledge of German and English. An additional European language at B2 level is a plus.
