We’re seeking a pragmatic Lead Software Engineer (Full-Stack, Python-first) to help one of Europe’s fastest-growing legal tech companies scale its software platform end to end. Our AI-powered products are already in market; now we need robust, extensible architecture and impeccable execution to support rapid growth and new feature velocity.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering , you’ll own critical services and user-facing features across the stack while guiding implementation standards. You’ll stay hands-on while mentoring teammates, enforcing code quality, and driving technical decisions that keep our systems secure, observable, and performant at scale.

Your Challenge and Opportunity in This Role

This is a rare opportunity to define how a rapidly expanding product is architected, shipped, and maintained. As our Lead Software Engineer, you’ll be both system designer and senior IC—translating complex requirements into elegant, reliable software. You’ll establish patterns for scalability (from modular service boundaries to CI / CD pipelines), ensure our Python services are battle-tested in production, and elevate engineering standards across teams. Expect real ownership, deep technical problem-solving, and the chance to influence how our platform evolves across markets and use cases.
