Stellenbeschreibung

What to expect :

  • Development and implementation of requirements and change management for  battery management systems (BMS)
  • Definition of functional architecture
  • Creation of functional descriptions and interfaces for electric powertrain systems / components
  • Concept development for specifications at the system / subsystem level (including powertrain / battery / motor)
  • Development, evaluation, and mapping of model-based (vehicle platform) requirements
  • Modeling and simulation of electric powertrain systems
  • Organization of coordination meetings
  • Tracking requirements and change requests
  • Implementation of an agile work structure, e.g., Scrum
  • Evaluation & analysis of use cases at the system / vehicle level
  • Ensuring compliance with system requirements, components, and test coverage
  • Development of new system technologies as research projects
  • Adjustment of electrical component requirements to the system for efficiency enhancement
  • Monitoring and coordination of suppliers

What you bring along :

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar
  • At least 3 years of battery management systems (BMS) experience in industry or university projects
  • Solid practical experience in requirements , change, and release management with Codebeamer (or IBM DOORS)
  • Good MATLAB / Simulink skills
  • Practice in model-based software development
  • Practical knowledge of Jira, Confluence , or similar
  • Know-how with agile working methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Understanding of vehicle electronics and software architecture
  • Knowledge of Modelica, Dymola, Simscape, C++, CANoe, CANalyzer - nice to have
  • Fluent English skills
  • German is a plus
