SENIOR windows System engineer

Summary :

TMC Luxembourg is a company which is built on the principles of transparency & entrepreneurship. Our business model “the employeneurship” is truly unique and to strengthen the team, we are currently looking for a System Engineer.

Your challenges?

  • The life cycle of the Windows Servers at the operating system level.
  • To provide a customer service as described in the DataCenter Service Catalog.
  • To maintain and recommend maintenance window guidelines based on customer needs, best practices and industry / Microsoft proven methodology.
  • Developing requirements in collaboration with providers and project participants
  • In charge of the installation, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and migration of IT infrastructures
  • Implement best practices across all platforms including Microsoft, VMware ensuring high level of security and availability.
  • Ensure the availability, integrity, security, and good performance of the network infrastructure.
  • Participate to IT related projects.
  • Providing support in projects assigned to you covering the domain of system engineering which involves functional safety and quality assurance
  • Maintain and manage IT infrastructure
  • Manage the private Cloud (maintenance, design, evolution of the infrastructure)
  • Ensure connectivity and network security
  • Implementing new projects in collaboration with your teammates

What do we expect from you?

  • Good written and verbal communications skills in English and French
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer Science
  • At least 5 / 6 years of relevant work experience in network, security and system administration
  • Work experience in a mechatronics environment, data protection technologies including encryption, key management and security modules
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
  • Excellent knowledge of systems : VMware vSphere, Windows 10 , Office 365 and Windows Server
  • Practical knowledge of problem-solving tools
  • Understanding of Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops and Exchange
