This is a remote position.

Program Delivery Process Manager - freelance opportunity with an energy client on a remote basis - occasional onsite visits to Frankfurt am Main and Berlin required. Fluent English German is nice to have. Full-time freelance project daily rate available.

The role focuses on developing and standardising software delivery processes and harmonising them across teams. You will facilitate training workshops and documentation while monitoring progress with tools like Jira and CI / CD systems. Daily stakeholder consultation and leadership of automation initiatives are key. Ownership of comprehensive process documentation and change management is essential. Candidates need strong experience in agile scrum Jira stakeholder management managing large technical programmes risk & dependency management DevOps and cloud architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and standardise end-to-end software delivery processes from concept to release.
  • Coordinate delivery process harmonisation across programme teams and product lines.
  • Facilitate training workshops coaching and documentation to embed best practices.
  • Monitor process adherence and progress using CI / CD tools Jira test management solutions and dashboards.
  • Consult stakeholders daily on process improvements and lead cross-functional initiatives to increase automation and efficiency.
  • Own comprehensive process documentation and drive change management for new or updated workflows.

Requirements

  • In-depth experience with the full software development lifecycle agile and scrum methodologies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with a history of aligning objectives in complex organisations.
  • Proven success leading large-scale technical programmes in fast-paced multinational settings.
  • Excellent skills in risk and dependency management problem-solving and quality assurance.
  • Expert user of Jira including report building automation workflows and project tracking.
  • Practical experience implementing DevOps principles CI / CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architectures and scalable solution design.
  • Fluent English (minimum C1 level) in spoken and written form.
