IT Security Engineer, IT Forensic Analyst, DFIR Analyst, Pentester or similar as a

IT Security Incident Responder (m / f / d)

As an IT Security Incident Responder (m / f / d), you will handle security incidents for our customers and examine devices such as clients, servers and mobile devices for traces of attacks and manipulation.

We, SySS GmbH, are an IT service provider with a focus on IT security testing. Founded in 1998, we are now the market leader in the field of penetration testing and employ a team of around 175 people at four locations in Tübingen, Frankfurt am Main, Munich and Vienna. Our work focuses on hacking web applications and IT infrastructures of well-known customers of all sizes and industries, many of whom we have been advising for many years.

YOUR TASKS WITH US

As an incident responder, you will be responsible for handling security incidents for our customers. These range from targeted phishing attacks to the complete compromise of the entire network.
You examine devices such as clients, servers and mobile devices for traces of attacks and manipulation. The spectrum ranges from email fraud to the reverse engineering of malware.
You contribute to the further development of our tools, infrastructure and processes relating to incident response from a technical perspective.
You stay on the ball and continuously develop your professional and technical knowledge.

YOUR PROFILE

A degree in digital forensics, computer science, IT security, business informatics or a STEM degree program.

Great interest and curiosity for IT security and preferably also with initial professional experience in the field of pentesting or incident response.

Wide-ranging know-how in classic IT technologies and initial experience in working with forensic tools and securing and evaluating digital traces.

Willingness to travel and participate in on-call duty. This occasionally includes night and weekend assignments.

Professional demeanor and good communication skills.

Very good knowledge of German and good written and spoken English.
