Your tasks

  • You analyze the national and international procurement markets for defined foundry input materials (direct materials) and derive procurement strategies
  • You will also be responsible for the material group field of extended workbenches
  • You will be responsible for preparing and defining negotiation strategies, conducting purchasing negotiations and drafting contracts, including handling contract disruptions
  • You create and evaluate comparisons of offers
  • You will be responsible for coordinating and reconciling requirements with suppliers as well as continuously analyzing the risks of existing suppliers and input materials
  • You initiate and review ratio projects and support their implementation
  • You ensure system-related purchasing processing including master data and price maintenance
  • You prepare make-or-buy decisions
  • You support the preparation and representation of the Purchasing department for your area of responsibility in internal and external audits
  • Purchasing controlling, business planning and supplier management including supplier evaluation and development round off your area of responsibility

    • Your profile

  • Completed studies in the field of business administration or industrial engineering
  • Many years of relevant experience in series purchasing, sound knowledge of SAP, strong cost awareness
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiating skills, convincing appearance
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
