Stellenbeschreibung

Aufgaben

  • You maintain and develop contacts with aluminum scrap suppliers
  • You ensure the quality and on-time delivery up to inspecting and processing of scrap deliveries at the recycling plant and remelt plants
  • You explore new scrap markets to support the recycling content growth
  • You analyze global procurement markets and develop new procurement strategies
  • You continuously control and optimize internal material flows
  • You cooperate closely with metal planning functions, European casthouses, operations including Nachterstedt Recycling Center, as well as other
  • support functions (i.e. logistics, quality etc.)
  • You are responsible to expedite procurement / open orders and to reduce metal costs
  • Travelling within Europe (approximately 40%)

Profil

  • You hold a university degree in Business Administration or similar
  • You have at least 2 years working experience in the purchasing field
  • You have a good understanding of the scrap market, recycling operations, supplier selection and risk assessment
  • You are proficient in MS office programs (Word, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Experience in SAP is welcome
  • Flexibility and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
  • You bring a willingness to travel within Europe
  • Business fluent German and Englisch language skills
