Your mission

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic and innovative team. You will play a critical role in optimizing our development and operational processes to deliver high-quality software, ensuring it meet our business needs and adheres to best practices in automation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This includes :

• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD) : Design, implement, and manage CI / CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process. Integrate version control systems (e.g., Git) with CI / CD tools to trigger automated workflows.
• Containerization and Orchestration :   Work with containerization tools such as Docker to package applications and dependencies. Use orchestration tools like Kubernetes to automate the deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) :   Using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to provision and manage infrastructure in a repeatable, automated manner.
• Automation :   Write scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, Golang) for automating tests, routine tasks, configuration management, and deployment processes.
• Monitoring, Logging and Alerting :   Implement monitoring solutions to track system performance, resource utilization, and application behavior.
• Release management & collaboration :   Coordinate and manage software releases, ensuring smooth transitions between development, testing, and production environments. Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and enhance deployment procedures.
• Problem Solving :   Identify and address technical challenges, making informed decisions and finding innovative solutions.
• Technology Evaluation :   Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential to enhance the company's software solutions.
• Leadership :   Mentor and guide junior members of the DevOps team.

About us

Rivada Space Networks is deploying the Outernet : the first unified global communications network. Rivada's global low-latency point-to-point network of 600 low earth orbit (LEO) satellites is a unique next-generation constellation combining inter-satellite laser links with advanced onboard processing and routing to create a ubiquitous optical mesh network in space. This "orbital network," in which data stays in space from origin to destination, creates an ultra-secure satellite network with pole-to-pole coverage, offering end-to-end latencies much lower than terrestrial fiber over long distances. And by routing traffic on a physically separated network, it provides a layer of defense for any organization that needs to securely share data between widely distributed sites.
