DevOps Engineer (m / f / d) - Bensheim, Germany

We are looking for an experienced and talented DevOps Engineer (m / f / d) to join our team. As a member of our Toolchain Operations team, you will support the complete software delivery lifecycle, including Dentsply Sirona’s build and deployment pipeline as well as improving on planning and tracking tools like Jira and Confluence. The DevOps Engineer will support modern tools and workflows that enable our software teams to scale our cloud software offering with high quality and fast release cycles.

Your responsibilities :

• Automate infrastructure using tools like Terraform, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Monitor application and infrastructure performance to identify bottlenecks and assure system health.
• Configure and maintain internal tools like Jira and Confluence for project planning and tracking.
• Bridge communication between development, operations, and security teams.
• Experiment with and adopt modern DevOps and CI / CD technology.
• Empower our software development teams to deliver quality to the customers every day.
• Collaborate with and share your work results and knowledge with our network of R&D teams.
• Support the product owner in defining epics, writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Contribute your own ideas in our agile development process.
• Identify opportunities to improve code quality, efficiency, and maintainability.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies relevant to the project.
• Meet deadlines and deliver assigned work to the best of your ability.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
