Overview

We are seeking a Backend Software Developer with a focus on databases to join our team. This role provides the opportunity to work in an innovative energy sector company, fully remote within Germany, with occasional on-site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Database Development :

Develop, maintain, and optimize backend database technologies, ensuring robust and efficient performance.

  • Product Customization :

    • Adapt solutions to specific client requirements and contribute to ongoing internal product development.

  • Collaborative Workflow :

    • Work closely with product and project managers to incorporate market feedback and refine the product lifecycle.

  • Task Management :

    • Create technical specifications and oversee task planning and execution using SCRUM methodologies and Jira.

    Skills and Experience

  • Proficiency in relational databases such as SQL, PL / SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL.
  • Expertise in UML and Entity-Relationship (ER) modeling.
  • Strong skills in software architecture and conceptual planning.
  • German at B2 level (C1 preferred).
  • English at B2 level or higher.
  • Experience with Oracle databases.
  • Familiarity with Java, Spring 4, AngularJS, TypeScript, Hibernate, or Maven.
  • Knowledge of energy market processes and relevant business functions.
