We are looking for an experienced Product Costing Specialist (m / f / d) to support our customers in the precise calculation and optimization of manufacturing costs. In this key position, you will play a leading role in cost management and work closely with various departments to identify and realize economic potential across the entire product life cycle. You will be responsible for performing product cost calculations, monitoring manufacturing costs and supporting the quotation process. Your tasks

Product cost calculation and analysis : Preparation and detailed analysis of product cost calculations, including assessment of risks and opportunities of manufacturing costs.

Cooperation and coordination : Close cooperation with Bid Management in the preparation of offers as well as coordination of the departments involved and deadline tracking.

Cost management and optimization : Implementation of materials management and production analyses to identify potential savings and implementation of make-or-buy analyses.

Results management : Supporting operational results management in close cooperation with Operations Controlling and the production departments.

Controlling and system maintenance : Maintenance of planned prices and monitoring of moving average values for stock orders using SAP as well as further development of controlling instruments.

Project implementation : Co-responsibility for projects such as design-to-cost, cost-down and value analysis projects as well as support for purchasing in the preparation of cost break-downs and value analyses.

Consulting and coaching : Commercial consulting and sparring partner for the operative production area and purchasing in order to realize cost and price optimizations.

Your profile

Successfully completed university studies (diploma / master's / bachelor's degree) in industrial engineering or comparable

Several years of professional experience in product costing / cost engineering

Good written and spoken English skills

Very good knowledge of Excel and SAP

Independent working style, self-motivation and continuous willingness to learn

Good communication and presentation skills, especially with customers and authorities

Willingness for occasional business trips and flexibility
