For our Office in Berlin, we are looking for an experienced, hands-on Devops Engineer to join our mission to revolutionise the trading world. You'll maintain and advance the cloud infrastructure, that is the backbone for our global Trade Finance platform, based on Kubernetes, Docker and AWS. You'll be maintaining infrastructure for Business Intelligence. You'll improve operational visibility of our systems by advancing monitoring, alerting and centralized logging infrastructure with Prometheus, Grafana, PagerDuty, EFK and Graylog. You'll handle production incidents and write RCAs. You'll maintain and advance the CI / CD pipelines using best practices, and work closely with our Dev Teams to support and improve the whole software development life-cycle. You'll maintain IaaC and CM code base e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Packer. You'll participate in Engineering decisions to further improve our infrastructure and processes. You'll also help out in the client support and the office network configuration. You'll mentor and support the Junior team members with your knowledge and experience. Requirements You have demonstrable experience in Release Engineering, DevOps and Cloud Engineering, preferably with microservices SaaS products. You are an expert in Linux operating system (i.e. administration, troubleshooting and automation) with strong understanding of foundational internet technologies such as HTTP / S, DNS, TCP / IP, SSL. You are an expert in designing cost effective production infrastructure with special attention to high-availability, failover, scaling and security. You have experience in application containerization, orchestration, monitoring, logging, automation and troubleshooting with Kubernetes platform and related best practices. You are an expert in scripting with Bash and Python. You have run SQL and NoSQL in production e.g. PostgreSQL, Redis or MongoDB. You love to build great things together with your team and you have excellent communication skills. You are a highly reliable person and you like to take ownership for your work and a fast learner. Nice to Have Professional training or certification in cloud / sysad / devops / infosec is nice-to-have. Background in information security is nice-to-have.
