Assistant Accountant

Due to continuous expansion, we are looking for a detail oriented and motivated Assistant Accountant for our headquarter in Luxembourg (Grand Duchy of Luxembourg) for our short sea roro shipping activities.

Your role :

Within this function, you will perform various administrative duties for the accounting department.

You will be responsible for the following activities :

• Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, etc.);
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements, and balance sheet accounts;
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes;
• Help prepare VAT returns and other statutory filings;
• Support the month-end and year-end closing activities;
• Support in the preparation of management reports and financial analyses;
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
