UcaneoOranienburg; DEYour mission Be at the forefront of designing and scaling an innovative modular carbon removal technology that has the potential to revolutionize the industry. This role focuses on transitioning our process from TRL 4 to TRL 8 by designing and implementing our pilot plant and scaling it to a First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) facility, all while ensuring manufacturability, cost efficiency, and operational robustness. Key Points : Pilot Design : Lead the design and implementation of a fully functional pilot plant within six months. Scaling to FOAK : Design a 100 t p.a. (First-of-a-Kind) plant, ensuring cost efficiency, manufacturability, and deployment robustness. Oversee process improvements, focusing on robustness and manufacturability. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including material scientists and electrochemists, for system integration. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental policies. Manage process documentation, including technical drawings, reports, and simulations. Work with external engineering firms and industry partners to achieve project milestones. Your profile Skills and Experience Master’s degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of professional experience in process engineering, with a focus on industrial-scale systems and electrochemical technologies. Expertise in process design, optimization, and scale-up, from bench to industrial scales. Proven track record in leading complex engineering projects. Strong understanding of electrochemical systems, industrial units, and regulatory standards.
