As a (Senior) E / E Architect (m / f / d), you will play a pivotal role in defining the architecture and deriving the requirements for new E / E solutions, while also supporting the maintenance of existing ones. You will analyze customer needs, distill them into clear requirements, evaluate and prioritize potential solutions, and guide decision-making processes. You will also work closely with the E / E hardware development team to ensure smooth implementation.

This position is part of a highly dedicated team that plays a key role in designing innovative Viessmann products, tailored to the fast-growing markets of heat pumps, PV and storage systems, and e-mobility solutions.

Your impact

• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and the E / E hardware development team to ensure comprehensive and transparent specifications for E / E solutions.
• Develop architectures, partitioning strategies, and variants of E / E solutions that meet product requirements, integrate optimally into the product, and minimize both development and production costs.
• Serve as the central point of contact for the specification and architecture of E / E solutions, supporting internal clients and the hardware development team.
• Ensure sustainable documentation of E / E requirements and architecture.
• Manage costs related to E / E solutions, including setting cost targets, defining cost structures, tracking expenses, and implementing cost optimization measures.
• Keep an eye on emerging E / E technologies, ensuring timely adoption and profitable integration into our products.
