WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Our team is focused on the modernization of legacy systems and development of new capabilities of digital solutions in the Operational EHS domain. There is a growing global need within BASF to leverage digitalization to continue BASF’s journey of EHS excellence and continuously improving our capabilities especially through digitalization.
- You lead the technical design and delivery of the SWIFT platform, including organizing and overseeing the efforts of multiple development squads to ensure timely delivery and successful deployments.
- Furthermore, you also build upon your existing skills in agile software development, platform and module design as well as project management to organize the requirements such as module design, platform design (if required), resource allocation as well as estimation, testing, and communication associated with global full-stack development.
- You collaborate strategically and tactically across many teams in the division to further develop a unified operations platform solution that integrates the EHS, maintenance and operations domains in a scalable environment.
- In addition, you support teammates to map out processes from multiple regions, including Germany / Ludwigshafen, Americas, Europe, and Asia to produce a consolidated, creative design proposal including wireframes / mockups and detailed workflows as an input to the software development team.
- In collaboration with stakeholders, you work on a continuous basis and collaborate across all BASF regions on topics related to module design, road-mapping, prioritization and continuous improvement, ultimately ensuring buy-in as well as customer satisfaction, especially during critical delivery periods or escalation cases.
- You support the implementation and ongoing use of the solutions in your area by partnering with solution engineers and DevOps engineers in the team, especially during project planning and the continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI / CD) phases.
- You develop formal communication and deliver presentations related to module strategy, outlook and status on a regular basis to tactical stakeholders and leadership at multiple levels in the organization.
