Job Overview :

We are seeking a Product Owner with a strong technical background and experience in the battery industry analytics or lifecycle management systems. You will play a pivotal role in defining the vision and driving the execution of our battery analytics and lifecycle management solution. As Product Owner you will lead product management and work closely with business development software development UX design and stakeholders to deliver cuttingedge solutions that meet the evolving needs of the battery industry. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of energy storage and the circular economy of batteries through innovative technology solutions.

Your profile

You will

• Product Vision & Strategy : Collaborate with stakeholders to re / define and articulate the product vision roadmap and strategy for Circunomics battery analytics and lifecycle management solution including marketplace / eprocurement functionalities.
• Market Research & Analysis : Stay abreast of industry trends regulatory changes technological advancements competitive landscape and customer needs continuously evolve the product offering and inform product development decisions.
• Product Backlog Management : Own manage and groom the product backlog ensuring that features and improvements are welldefined organized prioritized and aligned with company goals and customer needs.
• Feature Development : Translate business requirements into clear concise actionable user stories and acceptance criteria with a focus on battery analytics lifecycle optimization and marketplace integration.
• CustomerCentric Focus : Understand the needs of battery manufacturers fleet operators energy providers BESS manufactures and recyclers ensuring that the platform addresses their pain points and drives value through predictive analytics AI insights and efficient lifecycle management.
• DataDriven Decisions : Leverage data insights and analytics to inform product decisions measure success and continuously improve platform performance.
• Product Documentation & Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and concise product documentation user guides and training materials for both internal teams stakeholders and external customers.
• Product Launch & Iteration : Support the launch of new features and products gathering user feedback and iterating based on data and insights.

Circunomics GmbH based in Mainz Germany was founded in 2019. Circunomics is leading the industry by offering a comprehensive battery lifecycle management solution. CoFounders Felix Wagner and Jan Born are dedicated to establishing a true circular battery economy which in turn maximizes each stage of battery life. Along with their team they seek to inspire the movement of batteries from the automotive industry to the energy sector and finally on to recyclers who close the loop by recovering any remaining raw materials.

Circunomics has developed an AIpowered B2B marketplace where cells modules and packs can be sold and purchased. Through the Circunomics Analytics product sellers and buyers alike can obtain a detailed view of their assets. From current SoH to 2ndlife simulation this product allows for a simpler and more profitable lifecycle management. Circunomics knows that lifecycle planning is complex and the Battery Matchmakers are on a mission to help ease this process for their customers.

The company has been supported thus far by seed investors and business angels. Startup builder Next Mobility Labs recycler TES Orlen VC and Dr. Peter Mertens (former Chief Technology Officer of Audi) are some of the key players. The Series A funding round was completed in December of 2024 with the addition of investors Schaeffler and GET Fund.

Official expansion into the US Market transpired in January of 2025 with the hiring of Adam Willmouth who will serve as the companys US Managing Director. Circunomics looks forward to further collaboration with current US clients and to further growth within this key global market.
