Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing team in Munich. This role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen and is ideal for someone eager to build long-term client relationships while contributing to business growth in high-tech sectors such as defense aerospace and civil applications.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify and develop new business opportunities in Germany and selected international markets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Actively manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
Sales & Marketing Collaboration
Support sales strategies in line with the Sales Managers direction
Participate in trade shows exhibitions seminars and industry events
Contribute to marketing and promotional materials with technical insights
Technical Consultancy
Serve as a technical advisor to customers understanding their needs and recommending suitable solutions
Clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Maintain strong knowledge of electronic components and systems
Customer Relationship Management
Manage existing client accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
Prepare quotations proposals and technical documentation
Maintain disciplined and consistent use of CRM systems and sales follow-ups
Product Presentations
Support and eventually lead technical presentations and product demonstrations
Learn and deliver structured sales pitches with confidence
Market Intelligence
Monitor market trends competitors and emerging technologies
Report insights related to GNSS RF and Radio Navigation technologies
Requirements
Work Authorization : Must hold German citizenship
Education : Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electronics Communication Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related field
Experience : Experience or strong interest in technical sales account management or sales engineering (defense or aerospace is a plus)
Technical Skills : Strong technical understanding of electronic systems and components
Languages :
Fluent German (spoken and written)
Fluent English (spoken and written)
Mobility : Willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally abroad
Personal Attributes :
Self-driven proactive and target-oriented
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Team player with an entrepreneurial mindset
Systems & Data : Experience with CRM ERP and business reporting tools; comfortable preparing reports and client quotations
