What the job is about

Do you want to get involved in challenging projects, technical innovations, the implementation of new ideas and the solution of complex problems?

Our ERP-software is called ‘Miles’ and is meant for automotive finance, leasing, fleet, and mobility management. It’s an end-to-end solution encompassing front-, mid- and back-office functions that can be extensively customized to the customers’ needs. Our customers are leasing and finance companies, and mobility management companies in the automotive sector .

The implementation projects have a duration that ranges between 6 months and 3 years , with a budget of ca. Eur 800K-Eur 4M and a multi-disciplinary project team of 4-12 team members .

You will:

• Manage 1 or more implementation projects, depending on the sizes of the projects.

• With your team, establish and achieve objectives, balancing the competing demands for quality and scope, within time and budget.

• Organize and manage communication streams and reporting internally and externally.

You will manage the implementation of a new project or the implementation of features on an existing account for continuous improvement.

This means you will be:

• Handling invoicing.

• Taking product ownership for customer changes requests.

• Attending customer events.

• Discuss customer issues and strategic plans.

Your interests and skills

You have excellent organization/planning skills and are able to maintain an overview of the different phases and manage the implementation of different modules simultaneously.

A strong commercial awareness is important. You make sure that the proposed solutions bring value for the customer as for Sofico. And consider the concerns and expectations of the various stakeholders.

You are a people manager and coach : you succeed in getting your team on track and keep each project member motivated throughout the project duration by challenging and inspiring them.

Because of your excellent communication skills , you can effectively and concisely communicate project and technical information to provide comprehensive recommendations.

You have strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on relationship management and influencing skills, managing difficult situations is not a problem for you.

What else do we expect:

• Several years’ experience with project management and project management methodologies (PMBOK/Prince2, Agile, Scrum etc.)

• Several years’ experience with medium to large scale ERP deployments with the different phases of a software implementation project: from pre-sales phase till go-live; including requirement analysis, configuration, development, migration, testing etc...

• Experience in the financial sector; experience of the leasing business is a plus.

• You are fluent in German (min. C1).
