About the Team

Operating in the context of Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions, the carve-out management office (COMO) covers operational project management and project office, as well as carve-out governance and methodology. To scale up, we’re recruiting a workstream leader for the transversal carve-out workstream. Carve-out projects are complex and challenging, include all functions of the company and run in a volatile, time-pressured M&A environment that is exposed to all hierarchy levels. What you can look forward to as Carve-out Workstream Lead (m / f / d)

• Manage the most complex transversal workstream in major strategic carve-outs (multi-site; cross-country; cross-functional)
• Accountable for the carve-out concept deliverables with all project workstreams, domain functions and regions overall target operating model and per function including IT, entanglement analysis, carve-out cost adjustments (in and out of ZF); standalone costs and FTE per function; carve-out project cost determination
• Accountable for consistency and completeness of the project plans & activities, overall and per site. Instruct project managers on carve-out related content and pitfalls
• Senior advisor to determine the carve-out scope, design & conceptualization of new operating model, downsizing to small-medium enterprise,
• Manage carve-out interdependencies, carve-out risk management
• Direct project office resources and external consultants to produce the required data and documents, while ensuring consistency at the overall target operating model and making sure the concept meets the business plan
• Lead the carve-out readiness assessment before the project go / no-go decision
• Apply best practices & guidelines established by the carve-out governance body and ensure key project management methodology is followed within the carve-out workstream
• Fully integrate the carve-out management office (COMO) team and feed-back learnings, provide suggestions together with the project managers, support and bring the overall office forward
