Apply Now!   JOB OPENING Title :              General Maintenance Assistant (Mechanic) Location :      Bavaria, Germany (Hohenfels & Graf) Start Date :    September 1 2025 Job-Type :     Full Time The General Mechanic assistant will assist Generator Mechanics to replace and repair worn and defective parts, reassemble mechanical components, change oil and filters, and perform other routine mechanical tasks.

Also, he will conduct activities and personnel engaged in the full range of servicing and repair of diesel and petrol generators under the supervision of the General Mechanic.    Qualifications Secondary Diploma required.

A certificate in electronics and mechanics is highly preferred.

Minimum 1 year of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators and electrical appliances In-depth knowledge of equipment, diagnostic equipment, and mechanical systems.

Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.

Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to complete various forms and records, including requisitions, repair, and servicing forms Can understand and communicate in English Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Perform all tasks related to generator installations in the compound and common area premises in the supervision of Generator Mechanics Install new generators, including allied works, to complete power generating stations in the compound and offices Maintain equipment operation by completing inspections, preventive maintenance requirements, correcting deficiencies, keeping records, and diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.

Complete preventive maintenance schedules, installing components, parts upgrades, correcting deficiencies, maintaining appearance, and keeping records of time by task.

Review system user manuals and other technical engineering schematics to assist the Supervisor with maintenance issues and clarify complex technical issues Diagnose and repair any issues found during initial testing.

Change filters and perform standard service on units.

Work closely with the Service Manager on project progress, estimates, etc.

Prepare generators for shipment.

Other duties as required.
