Airtech is an American family-owned company founded in 1973. We are the market leader in auxiliary materials used in the manufacturing of high-performance composite parts and tools. Our products are used by the aerospace, automotive, marine, wind turbine, sports industries, etc. to create lighter, stronger and more environmentally friendly components. We also offer solutions for manufacturing large composite parts using 3D printing and manufacture pellets and filaments for 3D printers. Airtech Europe sarl is the European division since 1991 based in Differdange where we produce and distribute numerous auxiliary materials for the composites industry.

To complete our team and support our development, Airtech Europe sarl is looking for a :

Quality Assurance Leader

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the solidity and continuous improvement of our quality system in line with the expectations of our customers in order to fully satisfy them
  • Interact effectively with customers, and internal and external stakeholders in order to understand and integrate the requirements of all parties, particularly through specifications / questionnaires / customer audits and meet the demands
  • Planning, carrying out and monitoring internal and external audits
  • Lead continuous improvement projects

Skills & Experience :

  • Engineering degree or equivalent in quality, aeronautics, plastics processing, composites
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in aeronautics or wind power in the management of quality and / or the requirements to suppliers
  • Good knowledge of EN9100 standards (Airbus ASR is a plus)
  • Good written and verbal communication in English (French is a plus)
  • Real internal / external communication skills and a real sense of customer service
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and lead improvement projects in parallel
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze our customers' requirements and specifications
  • Good command of quality management tools and methods, such as APQP and APQP Wind, PPAP, FMEA, Control plan, 8D, SPC, Cpk, risk and opportunity analysis, etc.
  • Proven experience in internal and external audit
  • Pragmatism, rigor, sense of priorities, with good work organization, curiosity and thirst to learn and develop, sense of continuous improvement, problem solving
  • Very good IT knowledge (office pack and ERP)
