Cross Border RecruitmentDüsseldorff, DEA Japanese multinational trading company in Frankfurt is currently recruiting a Quality Engineer for their office. You will be in charge of the wide range of Quality roles with one Quality manager.
The job covers diverse responsibilities, but you do not have to have all the experience.
They are happy to train if you are keen to learn.
Business level fluency in either English or German is required.
TYPE : Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS : 8 : 30-17 : 00 from Monday to Friday (flexible hours may be negotiated)
SALARY : €50,000～negotiable depending on experience, plus bonus
START : ASAP
LOCATION : Frankfurt
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role includes, Quality Assurance, Quality Auditing for supplier and Quality Engineering.
Keep good relationship with clients (mainly Tier1 and Tier2 clients)
Analyse root cause of defects by discussing this with suppliers and make countermeasure reports to customers
Visit customers and suppliers and negotiate any quality issues and corrective action
Visit our warehouse to evaluate the quality condition of our products imported from Asia
Make sorting plan with the instruction sheet for defected products and manage the sorting
Approve incoming parts by confirming specifications and rejecting and returning unacceptable parts
Develop and support projects launched, for example making PPAP, environmental and other documents required by customers, evaluating production processes, etc.
Technical discussion with customers and suppliers about feasibility of manufacturing and quality requirements
Providing technical advice and guidance to suppliers to improve their manufacturing process, required submission documents, and defect rates
Providing leadership and management for the supplier quality department
Supplier evaluation and audit
Work with Sales Mgr. / Sales Engineer to promote new businesses
ISO management
Responsibility for ISO 9001 management of our operation
REQUESTED SKILLS
Experience one of the following responsibility (Quality Engineer, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality, Parts Inspection, Mechanical Engineering, Sales of Mechanical Parts)
Fluent in either English or German mandatory
Knowledge and experience of QMS such as IATF16949 / ISO9001 / VDA is advantageous
Understanding PPAP documentation requirements such as Control Plan, FMEA, Inspection Report, Capability study and Gage R&R etc is advantageous
Experience of VDA6.3
Excellent knowledge and experience of manufacturing process such as Press process, Machining Process, Forging Process and Moulding process is advantageous
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with using 5WHY, Ishikawa-method, Pareto chart, Histogram etc.
Able to go on business trips to Europe & Asia
