We are looking for a technical manager(m / f / d) in the area of technical maintenance to strengthen our team at our Heidenau location.

Under the supervision of the plant manager, you will be entrusted with the following tasks :

Management of the technical department

Mastery and application of technical regulations (standards and legal provisions)

Coordination of technical interventions & assistance in troubleshooting major malfunctions

Guidance of the technical team, promotion of their skills / autonomy / performance / behaviour and implementation of methodological improvements to the department's working methods

Coordinating employees from external companies and implementing methodological improvements to the department's working methods

Monitoring the proper execution of work with regard to costs, efficiency and deadlines

Establishing and monitoring indicators to measure the efficiency of the department and facilities in collaboration with the team

Assuming responsibility as a qualified electrician

Holding internal meetings

Introduction and monitoring of proper warehouse management

Optimisation of resource utilisation in the technical area

Consulting and support in the planning and execution of technical projects

Monitoring of the department's document management & written documentation

Performance of on-call duty

Regulations and certification

Monitoring working conditions, enforcing compliance with applicable labour law regulations in the company, applying and monitoring compliance with safety and hygiene rules, and making suggestions for improvement

Participating in various certifications (e.g. DIN-EN-ISO 9001, 22000, 50001, GMP+ B2, etc.)

Performing tasks to ensure occupational safety

Relations with external companies

Appropriate supervision of external companies

Preparation of prevention plans prior to any intervention

Investments / budget

Submitting necessary investment measures for the plant and their profitability to the plant management

Application of budget rules (project application, follow-up, invoicing)

Participation in budget planning

Ordering of materials in consultation with management in accordance with the budget

Supporting or deputising of plant management

Planning and implementation of preventive maintenance to reduce extraordinary maintenance work and troubleshooting, and implementation of all corrective maintenance work

• Technical training as, for example, electronics technician, energy systems electronics technician, electrician, mechatronics technician
• Further training as technician / master craftsman / bachelor / engineer
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of MS Office and SAP would be ideal
• Strong quality and cost awareness
• Written and spoken English
