Here at one

  • fıve, we are on a mission to reduce single use plastic impact on our planet.

Using Machine Learning, AI and advanced material science techniques, we partner with global brands to provide awesome, reliable, scalable and most importantly sustainable packaging solutions across Europe and beyond.

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Regulatory Compliance & Quality Manager to support our Research & Development and Commercial functions, reporting into the General Manager, Business Unit.

This role will have stakeholder management responsibilities across the business, senior leaders and external customers and partners.

You will play a critical role in ensuring quality control, regulatory compliance and certification in all of our finished goods and future developments.

This is a Remote First role and we are open to candidates + / - 2hrs CET, however the role would occasionally require travel to the Hamburg office, as that’s where physical goods are in stock & managed.

We are open to freelance or permanent part-time work, and flexible with working hours.

How you'll help build one

Regulatory Certification - Prepare, update and maintain Certificates of Conformity (e.g. food safety, recyclability, FSC / PEFC certification).

Supplier & Documentation Management - Maintain a structured database of quality & compliance obligations. Request, collect & verify supplier documentation, and coordinate audits of supplier quality performance as needed.

Quality Control & Assurance - Oversee & implement quality control procedures for incoming raw materials and finished goods. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions in cases of deviations or product defects.

Standard Operating Procedures - Develop and implement SOPs for quality checks. Define and maintain inspection criteria together with product management and production, to ensure consistency across batches.

Customer Support & Reporting - Provide timely responses and detailed documentation for customer requests related to product safety, regulatory compliance and sustainability. Support Commercial & R&D teams with regulatory insights for new product development. Prepare quality reports and compliance summaries for internal and external stakeholders.

Experience with Documents of Conformity (e.g. food safety, recyclability, FSC / PEFC certification).

Proven experience leading and implementing SOP implementation in a quality assurance context.

English fluency, as this is our business working language (German would be a HUGE plus given registered location, but not absolutely necessary)

Strong organisational skills and solid understand of high-quality data collection.

Demonstrate excellent stakeholder management - show us how you’ve worked with colleagues / teams in the past to help you achieve your goals.
