WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Role Overview
As a Quality Control Specialist at Tozero, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of our analytical processes. You will perform and oversee specialized laboratory tests, including Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) , Ion-Selective Electrode (ISE) , and Microwave Digestion Analysis . Beyond testing, you'll be instrumental in training team members on analytical equipment, ensuring that procedures adhere to quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in quality control and a passion for promoting sustainability in advanced battery recycling.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Perform and Oversee Laboratory Analysis : Conduct ICP, ISE, and microwave digestion analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards and Tozero’s internal quality benchmarks.
Train and Support Team Members : Educate laboratory staff on the proper operation of analytical equipment, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and data integrity. Provide hands-on training sessions and continuously assess team competency.
Evaluate and Ensure Result Accuracy : Interpret results with a focus on representativeness and accuracy, implementing corrective actions as needed to address discrepancies.
Develop and Refine Protocols : Create and standardize protocols for laboratory testing to maintain consistency and reliability across all quality control processes.
Quality Assurance and Compliance : Ensure all laboratory activities comply with regulatory standards relevant to lithium-ion battery manufacturing and recycling, maintaining accurate records and reports for audits.
Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance testing methods, equipment use, and team efficiency, contributing to Tozero’s ongoing commitment to innovation and improvement.
Your profile
Education : Master’s degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Experience : 1-3 years of experience in quality control or analytical roles, preferably in lithium-ion battery manufacturing, recycling, or an environmental industry setting.
Technical Expertise : Proficiency in ICP, ISE, and microwave digestion analysis is essential. Familiarity with laboratory best practices, result interpretation, and statistical analysis is highly valued.
Training Skills : Strong ability to train and guide colleagues on equipment usage, safety procedures, and best practices, with a commitment to fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Detail-Oriented Mindset : Ability to assess result representativeness and accuracy with precision, ensuring high-quality outputs in every analysis.
Languages : Proficiency in English is required.
