Your responsibilities

  • Preparation of scheduled and ad hoc reports on the security system. Gather data and recommend system improvements to senior management.
  • Executes procedures, maintains evidence and continuously fosters a culture and environment that supports compliance with requirements.
  • Is directly responsible for ensuring that systems, equipment and procedures are operating effectively to meet requirements, including supporting activities of the security center and contract security forces.
  • Is directly responsible for the preparation and maintenance of required evidence.
  • Supports the ongoing assessment of existing requirements and evaluation of new requirements.
  • Works with Diebold Nixdorf's Cybersecurity and IT departments to ensure security systems are functioning optimally, including patches, updates, connectivity and more
  • Assists in securing the necessary systems, equipment and controls to meet the requirements of all regulations and laws that may impact the physical security of Diebold Nixdorf's employees, assets and facilities.
  • Manages system and site assessment programs and system infrastructure.
  • Prepares scheduled and ad hoc reports on the security system. Collects data and recommends system improvements to management.
  • Follows technical protocols and may guide others on procedural issues.
  • Generally sets own priorities within guidelines.
  • Regularly adapts to diverse requirements and changing priorities.
  • Independently obtains the tools, resources and information required to complete projects.

Our requirements

  • Education or equivalent work experience required.
  • Minimum of 4-6 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience managing security systems and equipment.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German required (at least B2 level).
  • Optional

  • Good command of English (written and verbal).
  • Good communication, presentation, problem solving and thinking skills.
  • Proficient in all MS Office programs, including Project.
  • Knowledge of physical security systems, including physical access control systems and video surveillance systems.
