Do you share a passion for plants and want to contribute your skills in a results-oriented way? Then join our team at KWS LOCHOW GmbH at our breeding station in Wetze . We are looking for a dedicated Breeding Technician (m / f / d) for our innovative research and breeding team focused on hybrid wheat . This varied position is permanent and full-time .

The following exciting tasks await you in this role :

  • Planning, conducting, and evaluating field and greenhouse trials for internal and external research projects.
  • Supporting and guiding operational teams in sowing preparation, sowing, (digital) phenotyping, harvesting and processing.
  • Running lab analyses to check grain quality and baking performance.
  • Collaborating with breeding teams, molecular genetics, production, and other departments within KWS.

Bring in your strengths :

  • Completed training in the agricultural sector or a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences.
  • First professional experience in plant breeding desirable.
  • Good skills in common MS-Office applications and Driving license class B.
  • Fluent German language skills and solid proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills, paired with a structured, goal-oriented work style.
  • Enjoyment of working outdoors, along with flexibility and willingness to travel between our German locations during seasonal peak periods.
