The Service Specialist EDC Repair Center (d / w / m) is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our demo medical devices. This includes maintenance, repairs, and software installations, as well as conducting diagnostics to keep the systems in perfect condition for customer demonstrations.

This position reports to the Manger EDC Workshop and is part of the EMEA Democenter located in Wetzlar and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

  • Cleaning, functional inspection, completeness verification, and disinfection of demo equipment, as well as replenishment of consumables.
  • Performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs, including deploying upgrades on demo systems using various application software
  • Responsible for system integration, including order verification, installation of software and hardware, configuration of application data, creation of acceptance protocols, as well as testing and releasing applications, including software tests for sales and new setups
  • Coordination of repair services with external companies
  • Management and decommissioning of demo equipment in SAP Backoffice to maximize utilization and contribute to revenue growth

The essential requirements of the job include :

  • Degree in electronics or mechatronics with specialized training, along with multiple years of professional experience
  • Technical affinity and strong computer skills
  • Fluent German and very good English skills (spoken and written)

    • It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :

  • Technical expertise in handling repairs, calibrations, upgrades and allied tasks.

    Als Ansprechpartner für unsere Demo-Medizingeräte sorgen Sie für deren einwandfreie Funktion. Sie übernehmen Wartung, Reparaturen und Softwareinstallationen, führen Fehleranalysen durch und stellen die Einsatzbereitschaft der Systeme sicher – für optimale Demos beim Kunden.

    IHR VERANTWORTUNGSBEREICH

  • Reinigung, Funktionsüberprüfung, Vollständigkeitskontrolle und Desinfektion der Demoware sowie Vervollständigung der Verbrauchsmaterialien
  • Durchführung von Fehleranalysen, Wartung und Reparatur sowie Ausspielen von Upgrades an Demosystemen mit Hilfe unterschiedlicher Applikationssoftware
  • Verantwortung für die Systemintegration (inklusive Auftragsprüfung) und Installation von Software und Hardware sowie Einstellung der Applikationsdaten, Erstellung des Abnahmeprotokolls sowie Testen und Freigeben der Applikation, inklusive Applikationssoftware-Tests bei Abverkäufen und Neugenerierungen
  • Koordination von Transport und Reparaturleistungen mit externen Firmen
  • Abverkauf und Auflösung nach Vorgaben (Backoffice SAP), um einen hohen Nutzungsgrad der Demoware zu ermöglichen und zum Umsatzwachstum beizutragen

    • IHR PROFIL

  • Abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung zum / zur Elektroniker : in oder Mechatroniker : in mit Fachausbildung, sowie mehrjährige Berufserfahrung
  • Technische Affinität und gute Kenntnisse im Umgang mit dem PC
  • Fließende Deutsch- und sehr gute Englischkenntnisse (in Wort und Schrift)
