About the role :

Our Jobs.de | Kariera Group Recruitment Services Germany Team , in partnership with  ATLAS GmbH is seeking an experienced  Technical Editor to join a dynamic and innovative team. The Technical Editor's main duties will include work around the documentation for excavators and industrial machines.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Creation, revision, maintenance and management of spare parts documentation for excavators and industrial machines.
  • Independent research and procurement of information from departments such as development, design and production
  • Coordination of the scope and content of the spare parts documentation with the design and the spare parts service
  • Creation of digital photos and image processing, as well as corresponding meaningful technical illustrations from 2D and 3D image sources
  • Control, selection and coordination of external service providers in the creation of technical documentation in foreign languages ​​including timely processing and technical review of the documentation

Requirements :

  • Successfully completed degree or training as a technical editor or comparable qualification (e.g. engineer, technician or master craftsman)
  • Routine in the common MS Office applications
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Adobe applications (PS, AI, Acrobat) desirable
  • Structured, goal-oriented way of working and strong organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of German and English
