Application and operating system maintenance : Providing maintenance and support services for applications and operating systems, either directly to users or through service delivery functions
Diagnostic Troubleshooting : Collecting comprehensive diagnostic information, analyzing problems, and resolving issues related to end-user computers (EUC)
Incident and problem management : Investigate and resolve incidents and problems affecting EUC devices, peripherals, and installed software
Performance Monitoring : Monitor and resolve performance-related issues
User training and advice : Advice, training and corrections (permanent or temporary) for users
Documentation and extensions : Updating or creating documentation, editing data and defining extensions
Collaboration : Close collaboration with colleagues specializing in various areas (e.g. database administration, network support), vendors, and third-party providers
Required skills :
Previous experience in a customer-facing end-user support role is advantageous. This could include roles such as help desk technician, desktop support specialist, or similar positions.
German (at least C1 level)
Customer-focused support : Experience in a customer-focused end-user support function that includes EUC and software / OS installations and support
Incident resolution : Mastering the resolution of incidents, requests, changes, and problem solving within the framework of the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Microsoft Product Knowledge : Good knowledge of the Microsoft product offering, including key features and competitor products.
