About your role :

  • Multiwavelength analysis of jetted active galactic nuclei primarily using data from current X-ray (NuSTAR, Chandra, XMM / Newton, Swift) and gamma-ray (Fermi-LAT) facilities, both in quiescence and flaring states
  • Sensitivity studies and predictions for CTAO
  • Support in supervising graduate students

Limited : 3 years

About you :

  • Ph.D. in physics or astronomy
  • Good knowledge of coding languages (primarily Python)
  • Experience with high-energy (X-rays to gamma-rays) data analysis & jet modelling codes (e.g. JeTSET)
  • Optional : experience with other multi-wavelength data analysis (radio to optical-UV)
  • Familiarity with timing analysis techniques
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
