PLANET AI is a leading provider of cognitive systems for text and image recognition. The Rostock-based company offers the IDA platform, which uses patented and award-winning technology to automate document capture, classification and extraction using artificial intelligence.

We are currently seeking a talented individual to fill our AI Researcher (w / m / d) position.

Your main responsibilities in this role will be :

  • You will design, implement, test and document state-of-the-art AI models to address real-world issues using modern Deep Learning frameworks.
  • You will collaborate with small teams as well as work independently on projects, while benefiting from the support of experienced researchers.
  • You will continually develop and enhance your knowledge by keeping up to date with the latest developments the DL / AI community.
  • You will have the opportunity to publish your work in a scientific setting.
  • You will demonstrate the scalability and effectiveness of developed methods on a large scale.
  • As part of an agile research team, you will operate according to scrum concepts.
  • Our technology stack : Python3, Java 8, Tensorflow, PyTorch, Keras, Ubuntu, IntelliJ, GitLab, Maven

You have the following skills and qualifications :

  • Completed study program in information technology, mathematics, physics, or a comparable qualification
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in machine learning
  • Experience with Python as well as Tensorflow or PyTorch programming is beneficial
  • Distinct capability for teamwork and communication
  • Results-oriented work with a good balance between best practices and getting things done
  • Interest in machine learning and enthusiasm for new topics
  • Fluent in German and proficient in English (written and spoken)
